We understand that with the large concentration of Spanish speaking people in Los Angeles you might require a bilingual security guard. We do our best to hire Bilingual security guards but we can’t always guarantee a bilingual guard will be assigned to you. We do everything we can to service your security needs.

Are the guards assigned to me based in Orange County?
We do our best to make sure that the guards assigned to you are based in the city where you operate. This is for the convenience of everyone but it’s not always possible. Sometimes our guards will be from another city.
Why do I need security if I've never had an issue?
Security is about prevention. If you’ve never had an issue before then that’s great but it doesn’t mean that there won’t come a time when you need security and don’t have it. Security is going to help stop these emergencies before they become emergencies.
What Kind of Licensing do guards need in Orange County?
All of the guards at Armstrong Guard are fully licensed to operate in Orange County and the State of California. The most important thing is that they have their guard card, a license showing that they’ve passed the required training and background checks to be a security guard.
What type of training do guards receive?
That depends on the type of guard you’re hiring as some guards require additional training. The baseline for all of our guards is 40 hours of classroom-style training and testing as set by the state of California. Armed guards and other personnel will receive additional training on top of the 40 hours.
Why should we outsource our security and not have our own security division?
Security is not an easy field and the needs of a security division are often quite different than the needs of the rest of the business. Hiring a security guard from a security guard company alleviates the overhead cost that having a security team would otherwise bring.
Are Background checks performed on all of your guards?
Absolutely! Background checks are just one of the many ways that Armstrong Guard ensures that we’re hiring the best of the best. We always want to staff you with the best guards we can find and part of our selection process involves rigorous background checks.
